This edition of the Ecco Exohike W is a mid-cut outdoor boot, that has been made to perform on the trail. This style is for women and comes in a brown body, with beige highlights, and a black sole.

 

DRITAN

A new process of leather tanning in the form of DriTan, means that 25 million litres of water is saved annually. The result is identical to traditional leather in terms of quality, characteristics, stability, and lead-time. Besides saving huge amounts of water, the amount of chemicals used and the wastewater left over is reduced. This leather and process has been used to make this boot.

 

GORE-TEX

Alongside this, you will notice the implementation of Gore-tex technology. This is a water-proof membrane. It ensures that every inch of this boot is protected, while keeping your feet untouched by the harshest environments.

 

FLUIDFORM

Following the curves of your feet, Fluidform technology enhances every step that you take. This comfort begins with the anatomical last and 3D mould that have been used to craft this shoe. Moreover, lightweight fluid materials are directly injected into the sole. Because of this, they create a flexible and lightweight bond between the upper and the outsole. As a result, you can wear the Exohike W all day.

 

PHORENE

Meanwhile, a soft and lightweight midsole offers energy return and grip. Because of this, you can take the Exohike W on rough terrains, where it will maintain its properties.

 

PROSOMA

At the back, Ecco has included their Prosoma technology. This “visible tech” heel guard wraps the heel to give you protective support. So, you will feel stability, as well as a snug fit.

 

MICHELIN RUBBER OUTSOLES

And, for traction and durability, the soles have been built with Michelin rubber. At the midfoot of these soles, there is also a grip grid. Therefore, you can take this boot outdoors, and will benefit from the stability for countless adventures.

 

FASTENING

Lastly, to fasten this model, there is a thick lacing system that sits in discrete eyelets. However, due to the stretchable sock construction for the interior, the on and off is effortless. This means that even though there are secure laces, you will not have to struggle with them.
