The Timberland Davis Square 6-Inch is an outdoor boot. This style is for girls and comes in a pink body, with white highlights.
Starting with the upper, it has been made out of nubuck leather from a sustainable tannery. As part of the manufacturing process, parts of this boot use at least 50% leather tanned in a facility rated Silver or higher by a third-party environmental audit.
In line with Timberland’s beliefs of being eco-friendly, they have also created a material that has been used for the lining. By collecting non-biodegradable PET plastic bottles and recycling them, they are turned into RPET yarns. As a result, this boot contains at least 50% recycled PET.
And, as Earthkeepers, Timberland is always making an effort to make their products more responsibly. Almost all of them are created with at least one eco-conscious material. However, this product in particular is held to their highest environmental standards.
Inside, you will find an Ortholite insole. This is lightweight, highly breathable material that can withstand moisture. Moreover, it will not break down or lose its cushioning capability over time.
Meanwhile, the collar is padded in order to ensure a comfortable fit around the ankle.
To fasten these boots, there are three fastening systems. The first is a thick lacing with textured grip, that sits through metal eyelets. The second is a zip on the side, which allows the boot to be slipped on and off with minimal effort. Lastly, there are Velcro straps on each side which cover the zip, so that your child’s feet remain secure.
Lastly, the outsole of the Timberland Davis Square 6-Inch is made of rubber and provides you with grip.
