ASICS GEL SERIES

Through our years of shoe-fitting, we have identified ASICs trainers to be amongst the most effective at relieving plantar fasciitis related symptoms. They're cushioned, stable, and provide great mid-foot support. As with most shoes in our range, the foot-bed is removable.

What is plantar fasciitis?

Plantar fasciitis is a common condition that affects the feet, causing pain and discomfort in the heel and arch area. The condition is caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia, a thick band of tissue that runs from the heel to the toes. Plantar fasciitis can be caused by a variety of factors, including overwuse, obesity, and wearing shoes with poor arch support.

Symptoms of plantar fasciitis can vary, but can make it difficult for people to engage in physical activity or even walk without discomfort. Ignoring the condition can only lead to further pain and discomfort, and will potentially make it harder to treat.

There are a variety of treatments available for plantar fasciitis, including custom orthotics & physical therapy. However, one of the most effective ways to manage plantar fasciitis is through the use of comfortable, supportive shoes. Shoes that provide good arch support and have good cushioning can significantly reduce the discomfort asscociated with plantar fasciitis.
